Boomer is a blue and gold macaw.
Dr. Morgan acquired him in veterinary school from a man who could no longer keep him.
He is very well behaved and enjoys being around people. Sometimes he can be a real clown.
His vocabulary includes words: hello, hi mom, step up, come here, come on - lets go, good birdy, bad birdy, high five, high four (he only had four toes), turkey bird, hot, looky, look what I got, and peek-a-boo.
One unique thing about Boomer is that he can poop on command and says “go poopy”. This is convenient for when he is on your lap or shoulder.
His favorite food to eat is anything you are eating, but especially peanuts in the shell.
Chief was Dr. Morgan’s first pet in college (hence the school spirited name).
